The Local System side is your PC; the Remote System side
is our server.
Double click the My Documents folder
on your local system and also the folder you created earlier
to download your site into.
Double click the Web folder on the
Remote System to find all the files that make up your site.
Highlight all the files in the Web
Folder and click the arrow going left to copy the files into
the folder you created. Please note that if you have a slow
connection, you will need to transfer only a few files at a
time.
You will hear a ringing sound
when all files have been transferred.
Close the FTP program. Go into My Documents folder
and edit your site as necessary. Remember to correctly view your
site always double-click the index page first.
EDITING YOUR SITE:
In order to edit your site or create new pages, you need knowledge
of HTML or Web Editing software such as Front Page by Microsoft. Save
all work into the same folder your downloaded site is in, overwriting
(or replacing) old pages with new ones.
